After his 85 second annihilation of Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, we would be remiss not to mention Goldberg, who, following some gentle encouragement from Stephanie McMahon, has announced his intention to compete in the Royal Rumble in January.

You get the feeling Lesnar and Heyman aren't done with the WCW legend yet, and that means a repeat of 2004 - when the Beast Incarnate put paid to Goldberg's chances with an unscheduled interference - remains a distinct possibility. Survivor Series is evidence, though, that WWE aren't averse to short-term booking, and if Goldberg is prepared to return to the ring after a 12-year absence, it's safe to assume he's been given some assurances about how he will be used.
