WWE Royal Rumble 2018: 10 Worst Possible Outcomes
Popcorn farts and title changes nobody wants...
Picture a world where Kane stands tall as the Universal Champion heading into WrestleMania 34, AJ Styles gears up for a 'Mania rematch against Shane McMahon (without his WWE Title), the most bad-ass female star in years loses her lustre and someone you definitely didn't want wins the traditional 30-man Royal Rumble.
Then, take a glance at WWE's card for the 2018 Rumble pay-per-view and realise that all of the above could happen. It'd be a nightmare, and sure, it is unlikely all of these things will go down on 28 January. Unlikely - but not impossible.
The Rumble has to be a success for WWE, it just has to be. And yet, what if it all goes wrong? What if the show turns into a colossal failure, ruins true history being made, shifts titles just for the sake of it and leaves everyone with a bad taste during what is supposed to be the happiest time of a wrestling fan's year?
Don't look at us like that, it's possible...
