WWE's official website has announced when and where the 2027 Royal Rumble PLE will take place. In that press release, the company stated that the traditional favourite will happen in February at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. For reference, that's home to the NFL's Arizona Cardinals.

The 40th annual Rumble event will also be the third to take place in Arizona. Previously, the 2013 and 2019 Rumbles occurred in the state. 2013's show was notable for The Rock beating CM Punk to win the WWE Title and John Cena's 30-man win in the titular match.

Meanwhile, fans may remember 2019 for a fab Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles title bout and Rumble wins for both Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.

TKO has announced companion events in and around the Arizona area for UFC, PBR and Zuffa Boxing. None of those will clash with the Rumble in February though - they're all happening at other stages between September 2026 and next summer.

Interestingly, WWE's own announcement seems to suggest that 2027's Rumble PLE will be a single night affair. There had been rumours amongst fans that the promotion might extend the show across 2 nights (similar to the recent SummerSlam weekender), but that doesn't appear to be the case.

At least for now.

If management takes the plunge on that, then it'd likely see the men's and women's Rumbles headline a night each in quick succession. Typically, since introducing the women's match in 2018, WWE produces multiple Rumbles on the same card. There's no word quite yet on a format change for that.
