SmackDown was watched by a total of 2.255 million P2+ live viewers across its two hours on Fox. This included 836,000 P18-49 viewers for a rating of 0.64.

That rating was enough for SmackDown to finish second on the night amongst all television shows, finishing behind Shark Tank's P18-49 number of 0.65 ABC.

SmackDown's P2+ figure was up from the previous week's 2.174 million, with the P18-49 total increasing over 100,000 from 732,000 on 14 January. More significantly, SmackDown posted its highest P18-49 number since 10 September, when it drew 852,000.

Great numbers across the board for a show that wasn't particularly well-received, critically, despite the impending Royal Rumble 2022 show and Universal Title feud pitting Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins. Said singles feud dominated the night, with Reigns interfering in the main event between The Usos and Rollins/Kevin Owens, attacking Seth to trigger a disqualification. The outcome stipulated that The Usos will be banned from ringside during the Rumble's Universal Title fight.
