WWE Stars Express Concern Over Crown Jewel 2026 After Saudi Arabia Disruption (WWE News)
Some WWE talent are hoping the company reconsiders Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in November.
With the US Department of State having issued a Level 3 travel advisory for Saudi Arabia last week, there's now an update on the backstage feeling in WWE ahead of the company heading to Riyadh for Crown Jewel in November.
For those who may have missed it, that travel advisory warning was announced as part of the United States' ongoing war in Iran, with the official statement being to "reconsider travel to Saudi Arabia due to risk of Iranian drone and missile targeting of American interests, armed conflict, terrorism, exit bans, and local laws regarding social media activity." Additionally, areas along the southern Saudi Arabia border with Yemen have been classified as a Level 4 risk, which simply means do not travel to those areas under any circumstances.
As alluded to, WWE has Crown Jewel scheduled for the Riyadh Season Stadium on November 7th.
Per WRKD Wrestling, the talk backstage at Raw last night amongst WWE talent was that some of them were hoping that the market leader would seriously reconsider running this next Saudi Arabia event.
Previously, it was reported that WWE is expected to keep that November 7th show locked in due to existing commitments with ESPN, though there was a suggestion that the location of that show could change depending on how things unfold in the coming weeks. So, Crown Jewel or A.N. Other event would still take place on November 7th, but it just might be a case of the show taking place from somewhere other than Saudi Arabia.
