2. Cena & Cody Work Another Stinker

(OK, perhaps stinker is too harsh, but their WrestleMania 41 main event was hardly high quality. It was slow, boring for the most part, and just didn’t seem to get going. Honestly, it's a nightmare thought for Triple H that booking a rematch and putting it on SummerSlam proves to be a terrible idea.

What if John Cena and Cody Rhodes just don’t have any chemistry? Hey, don't rule it out. Steve Austin and The Undertaker had banging matches against a wide range of workers of all shapes and styles, but they never really meshed when they were put inside the ring together as opponents. It happens. No-one likes that it does, but it happens.

Cena probably needs a top tier match to bring his retirement run up a notch in terms of in-ring quality. Thus far, it's been so-so. At times, JC has slid into a role akin to the WCW main event crew of the late-1990s. In other words, his match has loads of star power but lacks true action and can't hold a candle to what's come earlier on the card. He'd be a fabulous addition to the latter era nWo with this sort of run!

Cody (and Cena too) will be desperate to improve on 'Mania 41. Rhodes had worked 3 singles match classics in a row vs. Seth Rollins and then twice vs. Roman Reigns on the biggest show of the year, so even he must be keenly aware that April's match with Cena sagged. Hopefully, they analyse what happened in Las Vegas and put things right.
