By virtue of the fact that he didn't actually hit Zeb Colter on Raw, some fans on social media were theorising that the whole tiff between the manager and Alberto Del Rio was a ruse. At TLC, some believed Colter would actually appear in Jack Swagger's corner, all before costing the 'Real American' the match and his shot at the WWE United States Title. That didn't happen. It seems WWE have instead decided to actually split Colter from Del Rio's side. There will be few complaints, because the union wasn't really working anyway. The whole 'Mex-America' thing felt forced, and was very monotonous. Whilst Del Rio, the US Champion, should be important, he was eating up air time on shows like Monday Night Raw by being alongside Colter. At TLC, Del Rio defeated Swagger cleanly to defend his title. Outside of the pre-match video package, Zeb Colter wasn't mentioned at all, which seems to suggest that he won't be alongside the Mexican any longer. Unless WWE decide to simply put him back with Swagger and book a rematch, the feud between Jack and Alberto seems dead in the water.
