5. Kevin Owens Intercontinental Title Run Is Over

As WWE Intercontinental Champion, Kevin Owens acted as relief following Ryback's reign. Fans required someone strong after Daniel Bryan had been forced to vacate the belt, and Ryback proved himself not to be the answer. Owens was an improvement in almost every conceivable way, but he is now known as a former Intercontinental champ. Dean Ambrose is the one to replace him. Looking back on KO's title reign, there was much more he could have achieved. It's obvious why WWE have taken the decision to put the belt on Ambrose, given his current alignment with The Family, but Owens arguably deserved a longer tenure with the title. The feud against Ambrose could have been protracted further, enabling the heel a little more time. It's difficult to see where Kevin Owens goes from this point. The main feud in WWE right now is between the League Of Nations and The Family, which ties up a lot of names. The company must surely have something in mind for the Canadian, because he's too talented to be sitting doing nothing. He proved during his Intercontinental run that he could be counted on.
