Following Sunday's WWE Fastlane PPV event, we now know for certain what the headline match will be when WrestleMania 32 takes place in just a few weeks from Dallas, Texas. Roman Reigns will challenge WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H for the title at AT&T Stadium in front of 80,000 people. Reigns defeated Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar at Fastlane to become the new number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, despite many boos from the audience that WWE wants to see cheering him. After months and months of trying to build Reigns into the company's top babyface character, he is still being rejected by a large majority of their live crowds. This will be especially evident at a show like WrestleMania where many of the fans in attendance are hardcore wrestling fans, destined to boo Reigns. It was also a glaring weakness in their WrestleMania build when Triple H came out to close Fastlane and face off with Reigns in the ring. As Hunter held up the championship belt in Reigns' face, with the WrestleMania sign in the background, the majority of the fans in Cleveland at Fastlane cheered Triple H. The Fastlane main event itself was a very good match as far as triple threats go. The story was Reigns and Ambrose working over Lesnar together, with both men knowing they needed to take out The Beast before they could worry about winning the match against one another. The two of them sent Lesnar through an announce table on two occasions. In the end, Reigns was able to gain the pinfall victory following some chairshots from Dean Ambrose. Ambrose wacked Reigns three times with a chair, then turned to Lesnar and knocked him out of the ring with the chair. When Ambrose turned around, he was speared by Reigns and had his shoulders pinned to the mat for the three count.
