Rusev has been on a tear since his debut on WWE television. The 60, 300-plus pound behemoth debuted at the Royal Rumble in January, but quickly disappeared. He went back to NXT, where he continued his dominating ways. Then, on the April 7th edition of Raw, Rusev returned for good. With Lana by his side, he immediately began destroying his opponents, and its remained that way ever since. Reportedly, there is no end in sight for Rusevs destructive ways. The PWTorch has reported that WWE management -- specifically, Vince McMahon and Triple H -- are high on the Bulgarian. McMahon especially is said to be a staunch supporter of Rusev, and feels that Rusev fills a vital role within the company. Its no secret that Vince has always had a thing for big, muscular brutes, and it seems that McMahon feels Rusev has filled that gap in the roster. Furthermore, Vinces focus is known to be shifty, with the Chairman of the Board often unable to keep his attention on any particular competitor or even storyline. There are countless stories of Vince changing his ideas completely, often in the lead-up to big shows. Its stated by the Torch that McMahon once felt that Big E was the guy to fill the powerlifter-like void. However, his attention is now fully on Rusev -- evident by both mens recent outings on television. Its speculated that the company may have big plans for Rusev in the coming months. Theres a strong possibility -- if Vince doesnt change his mind again -- that Rusev could be kept largely undefeated in singles competition from now until WrestleMania 31. There are already talks about having Rusev battle a top babyface at the upcoming Showcase of the Immortals in one of the top matches on the card. Its further reported that WWEs agents and producers have learned to keep Rusev looking dominant at all times in his matches. Otherwise, they run the risk of dealing with McMahons ire. Theres no question that Rusev has looked strong, especially of late. With the companys top brass reportedly very high on the Bulgarian superstar, it will be interesting to see if WWE follows through on their purported plans for him. Will Rusev continue his dominating ways all the way to WrestleMania, or will Vince McMahon tire of the Bulgarian Brute? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
