WWE's Plans For Jade Cargill Push REVEALED
What does WWE have planned for ex-AEW star Jade Cargill?
Jade Cargill is set to get a "full-blown push" from WWE after jumping ship from AEW.
Dave Meltzer reported as much on Wrestling Observer Radio, adding that WWE has already started on creative for the former AEW TBS Champion, who is expected at the WWE Performance Center later this week.
The amount of money WWE is paying Cargill means they have to give her the opportunity to get over, Meltzer stated. Her run won't be a "minor thing", but while Jade isn't on a Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch tier when it comes to pay, her contract will be "much higher than [WWE] usually go."
Meltzer described it as a "good deal", adding that because of its value, Cargill "won't be Tegan Nox or somebody that's brought up [from NXT], or Candice LeRae that's kinda brought up and left there."
PWInsider's Mike Johnson reported on Cargill's expected Performance Center arrival over the weekend. Jade is now understood to be a free agent following her AEW contract's expiration.
As of yesterday, Jade and WWE weren't "locked in" - according to Meltzer. Nonetheless, a lot of people inside the company have been talking about Cargill a lot.
