WWE's UK Stadium Show Is In HUGE Demand

WWE's recently confirmed stadium show in Cardiff, Wales is on course to be a colossal business success for the market-leading promotion.
Announced earlier this week, WWE's first United Kingdom stadium show in 30 years takes place at Cardiff's Principality, Stadium on Saturday 3 September 2022. A link for ticket pre-sale alerts was included in the original press release - and a record number of people have signed up to be notified.
talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy tweeted the following on Wednesday, stating that more people have pre-registered for tickets for this show than any other event in WWE history:-
WWE tell me more than 59,000 people pre-registered for tickets for WWE’s UK PPV in Cardiff in the first 24 hours.
This marks a new company record for any event - even WrestleMania! The UK is gonna go off ?

There is currently no word on how many tickets WWE will make available for the 3 September event. In its default configuration, the Principality Stadium's listed capacity is 74,500, though this will likely be different for a professional wrestling setup (given the space required for staging, the ring, etc.). Nonetheless, 59,000 is already an almighty number.
WhatCulture's Andrew Pollard exclusively reported in September 2021 that WWE was planning a British stadium show for the following September. It'll be the first time the company has held such a show in the UK since SummerSlam 1992, which took place at London, England's famous Wembley Stadium.
