Last week, Nikki Bella cut one of her trademark wooden, unconvincing promos that threatened to sap all interest in her Women’s World Championship feud against Stephanie Vaquer.
Monday night, the Chilean champion responded via vignette and showed Bella how to cut a promo… in her second(?) language. Vaquer said that everyone warned her about befriending Nikki, and then she turned on her. But while Bella thought she was clever, La Primera had a warning: “If you were as smart as you pretend to be, you would know exactly who you’re messing with. Now, you will pay.”
Vaquer’s English is still a bit “broken,” but she spoke with more conviction than Bella could manage last week, and you bought it when Stephanie asked her if she was “sure you want to get in the ring with me?”
