10 Best X-Men Costume Redesigns

10. X-Factor Havok

As Cyclops' younger brother, Havok often gets overshadowed by the more popular Summers. Yet time and time again, he has proven to be a good leader in his own right. Initially sporting a containment suit design by Larry Trask, the younger Summers wore an all-black bodysuit complete with a unique helmet which allowed him to control his powers. But during the '90s, Alex Summers received a redesign more contemporary as he was tasked to lead the revamped government-sanctioned X-Factor.

Sporting a big yellow X on his chest complete with a leather jacket, this new uniform matched closely with his comrades. He even had a headpiece that was popularized by fellow X-Man Gambit in the '90s while showcasing his blonde hair. Ultimately, Havok's redesigned costume was modernized during the new decade while maintaining the aesthetic established by Neal Adams all those years ago.

This new look of his would even appear during his guest appearance in the X-Men: The Animated Series where he and the X-Factor members faced off against his brother's team.
