5. Do The Green Lantern Corps Appear?

In an alternate universe Ryan Reynolds has completed a trilogy of Green Lantern movies, and made a post-credit cameo in Dawn Of Justice to set up his appearance in Justice League. That obviously didn’t happen, and given the quality of the Green Lantern movie, that’s probably for the best.

What is surprising is that old Green won’t be part of the Justice League at all. Instead, DC have announced Green Lantern Corps, which will feature a whole bunch of them teaming up. It’s pitched as a Guardians Of The Galaxy-style romp, and will likely involve John Stewart, Jade Scott, Kyle Rayner and others working together to stop an intergalactic threat.

That movie is pencilled in for 2020, so the question is how early will it be teased, and could one or more Green Lanterns make a surprise appearance in Justice League? There’s a rumour they could get involved during an apocalyptic final battle, which would certainly be a good tease for a later movie.
