3. The Killer Is Revealed - Bodies Bodies Bodies

In this teen horror-comedy, a group of dysfunctional Gen-Z friends decide to play a "murder in the dark" party game to pass the time. When one of the players, David, is discovered with a slashed throat, it isn't long before everybody turns on each other.

Bodies Bodies Bodies received a lot of praise for its social satire, tight script, and well-rounded characterisation. But the most memorable aspect has to be the identity of the killer... or lack of. 

After David is found mortally wounded, Sophie, Bee, and the others accuse each other of stabbing him. Believing there's a murderer in their midst, the group slaughter each other. In the end, only Sophie and Bee remain, each of them certain the other is the culprit.

But when they discover David's phone, they play the last video he uploaded, revealing he cut his throat by accident while messing around with a sword. In that moment, Sophie and Bee realise all the deaths that night were caused by miscommunication, panic, and stupidity.

This last-minute rug-pull is a real gut-punch, as it highlights how a simple misunderstanding turned friends into psychos overnight, solely to protect themselves from a non-existent threat.
