10 Movie Franchises Where The Villain Became A Hero

6. Pyramid Head - Silent Hill: Revelation

Pyramid Head has become the mascot of the Silent Hill games, based on his iconic design and mysterious origins. His brief appearance in the first movie was the most memorable thing about it, where he pursues the heroine around the town and skins an unlucky cult member with his bare hands.

Unfortunately, the sequel Revelation would turn out to be one of the worst game to movie adaptations ever; which is really saying something. It takes the plot of the acclaimed third game and turns it into a cheap, tacky horror flick complete with terrible acting and special effects. It even ruins Pyramid Head, turning him from a brutal monster into the bodyguard of the main character.

When she has to fight a demon at the end, good old PH turns up with his gigantic knife and saves her. He eventually takes off the creature’s head, before wandering off and taking what’s left of the franchise’s dignity with him.

Still, at least we have Silent Hills to look forward too. Maybe that will...oh.
