11 Giant Mistakes The DCEU Has Already Made

1. Having Zach Snyder As Their Creative Overseer

Why DC decided that Zach Snyder €“ the €œvisionary€ behind 300 and Sucker Punch €“ was the perfect the man to lead them into the future is a mystery. It€™s true that he makes visually arresting movies, but he has absolutely no idea how to tell a story. This leaves his film achingly hallow as a result; a criticism that was rightfully aimed at Man Of Steel. Even after those complaints he was handed the sequel, which appears to be more of the same; moody visuals, an avalanche of CGI and everybody looking glum and serious. In addition to that he€™s directing Justice League Parts One and Two, as well as producing the other DC movies. He€™s become their version of Kevin Feige basically, which sounds like a terrible idea all around. If they want a visual consultant he€™s not a bad choice; but if they want someone with a sense of story or characterisation he€™s a disaster. Anytime he€™s even attempted to get deep with characters (Sucker Punch) he€™s only shown just how poor his skills are. Having him supervise a whole universe - and digging to the core of what makes these characters tick - could be a massive disaster. How do you think DC has handled their cinematic universe so far?
