There's not a DiCaprio movie comes around without the inevitable question of Oscar-worthiness. In truth, it's not so much a question of whether he will be nominated - because he makes pretty solid gold career decisions - but whether this is finally the one that will get him a win. This year's effort - The Revenant - has a lot going for in that respect. It's grim, it's about overcoming adversity, it's based on a true story and it's a Western - which the Academy, unexpectedly traditionally love. So it's got a lot in common with a significant number of past winners already, including having a Best Director winner at the helm. Will this be Leo's year? Best Guess Answer Well, sooner of later someone is going to have to give DiCaprio a career Oscar, rather than one based on a single performance. Because unfortunately, he's going to have to compete with Eddie Redmayne, whose performance in The Danish Girl has got Oscars written all over it.
