Though both prior Charlie's Angels movies were box office successes, are audiences really fussed about this franchise reboot?

While the previous two films starred the red-hot trio of Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu, the new triumvirate of Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska doesn't possess a fraction of that appeal.

While a (presumably) mid-range budget will prevent it from ending up a Ghostbusters-sized disaster, it's also easy to imagine the film failing to connect with casual audiences and being yet another failed attempt to retool a tentpole franchise.
