Budget: $45 million (estimated)

As enjoyable as 2009's Zombieland was, this follow-up has a distinct whiff of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For syndrome. That is, it's coming at least five years too late, by which point most audiences have lost interest in a sequel.

It's also possible that, with the entire cast becoming far more famous since the movie released, the budget could balloon to ill-advised levels, which combined with a declining interest in zombie movies may make it a hard swing and a miss.

It'd be great to be wrong - assuming the movie's a worthy follow-up - but we all know how risky belated sequels tend to be.
