12. Sylvester Stallone

Alright, this was only a brief cameo, but it was still distracting. Cameos are often a chance to add comedy and entertainment into the mix - just look at Matt Damon in Thor: Ragnarok. No-one wants to see someone frowning and speaking in a tough voice; we get enough of that already in Hollywood movies.

Sylvester Stallone is an enormously limited actor and rarely turns in genuinely memorable performances. He's nowhere near as interesting as other action stars such as Dwayne Johnson, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Bruce Willis and, in his brief GOTG 2 role, he once again gives the same tedious tough guy performance.

In a movie full of great performances and great moments, he is one of the few things in the film that isn't entertaining. It's an extremely jarring small part more than anything else and since Stallone is given absolutely nothing to do it's a mystery as to why Marvel decided to hire such a big actor for such an inconsequential part. With Stallone currently dealing with rape allegations, it remains to be seen if he'll return.
