13. Idris Elba

It's hard to find anyone who doesn't love Idris Elba and, to be frank, why wouldn't they? He is a tremendous actor and is an all-around cool guy in real life. It's difficult to think of any time he's been bad but if you were to name a time off the top of your head, this uninteresting part as Heimdall would definitely leap to mind. The Thor films (and two of the Avengers films) will be disappointments for Elba's many, many fans.

Heimdall is... a guy who stands still before a portal and speaks in a weird accent. That's it unfortunately. He never really gets anything to do and Elba never gets to emote or display his acting chops. The only time the films really took advantage of Idris Elba's acting skill was during a dream sequence in Age of Ultron, but sadly that was just a cameo.

Idris Elba didn't seem to enjoy working on the Thor films either and there's no doubt his recent death in Infinity War will have come as a relief.
