If Joel Schumacher was trying to make sure the audience didn't believe Mr. Freeze as an imposing villain, then he did a damn good job in this scene, where Freeze is encouraging his goons to sing along to Christmas cartoons, while he's kitted out in a robe and wearing fluffy slippers which appear to resemble polar bears. Aside from the fact it looks hilariously stupid, it doesn't even really make much sense. Mr. Freeze has a suit which keeps his body cool, so why would he want to wear slippers which would raise the temperature of his feet much higher? He'd be better-advised to walk around in bare feet or sandals or something, surely? When you get to a point where you're debating footwear in Batman and Robin, it may be time to check your sanity...
