As if the scene couldn't get anymore cringe-worthy, Batman and Robin blow up the capsule in mid-air to stop it "killing thousands" (somehow) if it lands in Gotham, using two of the capsule's doors to glide away from the explosion. Cue Robin uttering corny one-liners like "Surf's up!" and "Cowabunga!" as they fly through the air in pursuit of Freeze. It's almost as bad as the movie gets. Almost.
