3. Kurt Russell - The Hateful Eight

Pretty much every character in The Hateful Eight meets an unpleasant end, but there’s none quite so extreme and gross as that of Kurt Russell’s John Ruth. Around the midway point Ruth’s coffee is poisoned by a mystery assassin, and rather than passing away peacefully he starts spewing up blood and bits of bile all over the place.

Once he realises what’s happened he starts viciously attacking his chained prisoner Daisy Domergue, and he even manages to barf some gore directly onto her face. Daisy puts him out of his misery a few moments later with a gunshot to the chest, but even then she has to drag around the bloody corpse for most of the second half.

His final indignity is getting his hand sliced off, but his spirit can rest easy in the knowledge Daisy eventually meets her end by hanging, which was his plan from the very start.
