Its now been more than a year and a half since Man Of Steel opened worldwide, and the movie continues to divide opinion. Its fans - and there are many - found much to enjoy in Zack Snyders ambitious, explosive superhero flick, while its detractors derided the sober tone, shaky plotting and at times overwhelming amount of CGI. The final box office gross of almost $670 million was a modest success but, in all likelihood, below expectations, so the decision to bring Batman into the equation and kick-start a Justice League series rather than risk a standalone sequel was probably a shrewd move. Whatever your take on Man Of Steel, the part of the plot that attracted the most criticism was the large-scale destruction of vast swathes of Metropolis when Kal-El duked it out with his fellow Kryptonians. It has been strongly rumoured that these events will have a direct impact on Dawn Of Justice, which makes perfect sense in that real estate-obsessed Lex Luthor is entering the fray. As such, expect to see the trailer address the present and future of Metropolis, with a backlash brewing against a certain Big Blue Boy Scout.
