10. Scorsese's Cameo - Outcome

There were plenty of pre-release murmurs that Jonah Hill's latest film Outcome was in trouble, given that Apple took two years to release it after shooting wrapped despite it having little in the way of VFX work.

And indeed, this Keanu Reeves-starring, possibly autobiographical black comedy is an eye-roll-worthy satire that outstays its welcome long before even its brief 83-minute runtime comes to a close.

But Hill does at least serve up a brilliant cameo from none other than Martin Scorsese himself, who appears in two brief scenes as Red Rodriguez, a washed-up talent agent who previously managed protagonist Reef Hawk (Reeves).

Scorsese once again proves himself to be a natural born performer despite all his time spent behind the camera, giving a heartfelt monologue about his own curtailed career and Reef never calling up to check on him.

It's a blast seeing Scorsese and Reeves sharing the screen together, even if only for a few minutes, all while the filmmaker gives the single best performance in the entire movie.
