What We Know So Far
The trailer is a little light on M'Baku, who we see seemingly in battle against the Dora Milaje, and not in his traditional Man Ape costume from the comics. On the page, he is Wakanda's second greatest warrior - after T'Challa - and every suggestion seems to point towards him working with Erik Killmonger to distract Black Panther from his leadership duties.
Specifically, it looks like M'Baku kidnaps Everett Ross, Nakia and Queen Ramonda, as hinted in a very brief shot from the trailer...
Could this be him bringing his captives to Killmonger?
Interestingly, despite Marvel's track record of killing off villains after their first appearance (aside from Loki, anyway), M'Baku has also been confirmed for Infinity War, which suggests he survives to fight another day.
