20 Most WTF Horror Movies Of The 2020s (So Far)

3. Studio 666

Studio 666 is nothing if not one of the most bizarrely specific horror-comedies of the last few years, given that it follows the Foo Fighters as they move into a cursed mansion to record their new album, only for Dave Grohl to become possessed and embark on a grisly killing spree.

Though far from a great film, it is a profoundly weird one, that someone, somehow came up with the idea of tossing one of the world's biggest rock bands into the middle of a possession movie like a live grenade to see what happens.

While not offering much on a narrative level - to the surprise of few - the gory death scenes are achieved with some gloriously theatrical practical effects, and the sheer zany thrill of seeing the Foos goofing around on screen will make it worth at least one viewing for fans.

And yet, despite releasing as recently as 2022, this one came and went in the blink of an eye.
