2. Deadpool (From X-Men Origins: Wolverine)

Cause of Death: Shot. A lot.

Deadpool sure wasn't kidding when he said DP2 would one-up Logan in the hero death stakes, was he? Deadpool technically dies yet again in the movie's mid-credits sequence, where 'Pool travels back through time and inserts himself into the events of the maligned X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

As Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) prepares to battle the awful "Barakapool" version of Deadpool from that movie, Wade intervenes, shooting the Origins version dead and pumping a extra bullets into him for good measure.

For anyone who even mildly disliked that movie and especially its treatment of Deadpool, what a wonderfully cathartic moment this was.
