3. Untitled X-Men Film

Mutants have slowly been drip-fed into the MCU over recent years, including the likes of Black Widow's Ursa (Oliver Richters), She-Hulk's Wolverine tease, changing Kamala Khan from an Inhuman to a mutant, and, of course, Deadpool & Wolverine and X-Men '97. This is just the tip of the tip of the iceberg, however.

Once the Multiverse Saga is complete, after the X-Men have crossed paths with the Avengers, the mutants will, in all likelihood, take a much stronger hold in the wider MCU franchise. The spearhead of this will be the first of hopefully many X-Men movies.

There is currently little to nothing known about this project, and while it's likely a whole new cast of actors will join the fray, it's impossible to predict what or when this will happen. All that is currently known is that, fresh off the success of Thunderbolts*, Feige has picked Jake Schreier to direct, which at first glance would appear to be a fantastic choice.

The truth is, much like the Fantastic Four, fans have been patiently and not so patiently waiting for the X-Men to make their MCU debuts, and so, regardless of what happens, this is already one of the most anticipated movies the franchise has to offer, something that will only increase as time goes on.
