8. Ares Searches For Sam & Quorra - Tron: Ares

Tron: Ares is categorically not a good movie, but at least it offers up some passable action and entrancing visuals with a pretty decent score from Nine Inch Nails, right?

But that ending scene left a whole lot of Tron fans feeling sour, when Ares (Jared Leto) reveals that he's now busy travelling the world in search of the previous film's protagonists, Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) and his program companion Quorra (Olivia Wilde).

Basically, this ending teed up a sequel which will bring Sam and Quorra back into the fold, when in actual fact, this is what most fans wanted Tron: Ares to be.

And to make it even more infuriating, this tease for coming events is all for nought, considering that the movie flopped at the box office, ensuring that the entire Tron film franchise has effectively been iced for the foreseeable future and this sequel will most certainly never happen.
