4. Bond 26

There's a whole hell of a lot riding on the next James Bond film, which in addition to introducing the next actor to play 007 will also be the first Bond film produced under the direct leadership of Amazon since they acquired MGM.

And though there was much upset among the fanbase when perennial Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson finally ceded control to Amazon in early 2025, they managed to erase much of that ill will by swiftly announcing that Bond 26 will be directed by the great Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, Dune).

Villeneuve's reputation as one of the most accomplished blockbuster filmmakers working today speaks for itself, and so it's much easier to have faith in the process, regardless of who is ultimately cast as 007.

Couple this with the script being penned by the solid Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) and casting being undertaken by the legendary Nina Gold, and there's some serious talent overseeing this thing.
