9. Steve Hooking Up With Sharon Carter - Captain America: Civil War

Peggy Carter was the great love of Steve Rogers life, and their tragic romance is a defining part of his character. It already felt strange that Peggy dies off-screen in Civil War, but it’s even weirder that he mourns for all of twenty minutes before making a move on her niece Sharon.

The two also have a relationship in the comic, but like the Hulk/Black Widow love story in Age Of Ultron the “romance” between them feels utterly contrived. The actors don’t have much spark, and there wasn’t enough of a connection between them before this kiss to suggest there was an attraction.

Plus a guy kissing his former love’s niece a few days after she dies is wrong in ways that are almost uncharted.
