She calls Peter out on his creepiness, and is seemingly a straight-talking, bookish fellow pupil. However, there'll probably be a lot more to her than that. Expect her to become a love interest, or have some other part to play in Spidey's story. Like, y'know, being Mary Jane. Which is a weird thing to setup as a 'twist', really.
