10. Is Arnie Now A T-1000?

The whole movie is building to the showdown between Sarah, Kyle and the T-800 and Genisys/Skynet, as the former attempt to destroy the latter. During the fight, Arnies Terminator melds with the liquid metal of a T-1000.

So, does this mean that his classic T-800 has received a total upgrade, and he's now a T-1000? Or is he still technically a T-800 with some 1000 abilities, or an entirely new hybrid of Terminator that we havent come across before?

Given all of the stuff packed into the film and left unanswered, it may not be the biggest issue, but given Arnie as a T-800 is the foundation of the entire franchise itd be good to know exactly what hes supposed to be now.
