4. Deborah Tries To Devour Cara - The Taking of Deborah Logan

The Taking of Deborah Logan is an uncommonly effective found footage film with one hell of a distinctive climax, in which the Alzheimer's-riddled, possessed title character (Jill Larson) is caught trying to devour young Cara (Julianne Taylor).

And when we say devour, we mean that the central characters stumble upon her with an unhinged jaw slowly attempting to eat Cara head-first in a manner unmistakably like that of a snake.

It's an immensely unnerving visual and one that's executed extremely well for a low-budget horror film, giving us a horrifically lingering look at what Deborah is doing rather than concealing budgetary constraints amid nauseating shaky cam.

It's a moment that absolutely could've played as completely silly and even derailed the entire movie if it didn't work, but it thankfully ends up landing on just the right side of WTF.

Even if you don't remember much of the movie otherwise, there's no escaping this striking visual.
