One rumour that's too delicious to ignore is Magneto being another Horseman of Apocalypse. In Maggie's case, he'd be War - a fitting position for a mutant who has tried to ignite a war between humans and mutants for so long. This rumour started out even before Days Of Future Past was released. In the earliest and wackiest version of the rumour, Magneto was slated to be possessed by a disembodied Apocalypse at the end of that film. When that didn't happen, the rumour refused to die and instead changed into the one doing the rounds now. If Magneto is captured by Apocalypse and turned into the second of his henchman, it's also reasonable to assume that Erik Lehnsherr won't stay enthralled. Just like Wolverine, it's hard to imagine anyone being able to control Magneto for very long. However, before he casts off those mental chains, Magneto is most certainly going to go head to head with the Horseman formerly known as Death. A Magneto versus Wolverine clash is a fight the film will not be able to resist, especially after Logan's ignominious defeat at Erik's hands in the last film.
