Release date: 16th November I've rambled about it before and I shall ramble again. Knight Squad looks set to be one of the most chaotic and enjoyable local multiplayer games to be coming out this year. The top-down slasher combines gameplay elements of Bomberman and Gauntlet, with players choosing one of several knights then leaping into big arenas filled with power-ups, power-downs and destructible walls. Up to eight people - online or offline - can join the carnage. What you do in said arena depends on which of the game's many modes you choose to play. There are classic competitive modes like deathmatch and Capture the Flag, you can team up to take on waves of enemies in Survival mode, or even play a football-like game where you try to hit a ball into the goal (while slashing your opponents to pieces, of course).
