10. Not Enough Players - Star Trek: Bridge Crew

Ubisoft

Star Trek: Bridge Crew is one of the biggest AAA VR experiences hitting stores this year, allowing players to take a role on the Enterprise with either their other headset-totting pals, or randoms online.

It's a great idea and looks like a lot of fun, but the question remains: will the player count be healthy enough for it to thrive?

How Likely Is It?: This is a tough one, because though the game smartly has cross-play between VR platforms, anyone who's tried to play Eagle Flight online recently will be aware that cross-play can only do so much to help keep communities thriving.

Community sizes on VR games can be extremely low, and while Bridge Crew is sure to invite passionate fans, there's no guarantee they'll stick around regardless of the game's eventual quality.

Basically, if it still has a healthy player load by the end of 2017, it'd be hugely surprising. 8/10
