9. Find Arabella's Parents (Baldur’s Gate 3)

Every Baldur's Gate 3 player knows the name Arabella, as this kid winds up in so much turmoil that it seems like she's working on a tragic Dungeons & Dragons backstory. You'd think things couldn't get any worse for the poor Tiefling youngster after the Emerald Grove Druids take her hostage in Act 1, but this is just the start of her woes. 

If she survives to Act 2, then you can find her in the Shadow-Cursed Lands, where she'll tell you that she's looking for her parents. You agree to locate her mom and dad for her, hoping they'll still be alive. Unfortunately, you've just started down a road that leads to inevitable agony. 

You'll find them both in the House of Healing already dead. There is, tragically, no option to save them, as, despite BG3's incredible levels of player reactivity, they are one of the few fixed, scripted deaths that cannot be avoided. 

Telling Arabella about this outcome is earth-shattering as she's already been through so much. She does, at least, get some good advice from Withers and shows her potential as a Sorcerer, but this quest really makes you wish you could do more.
