8. Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince

Back in the earlier days of Xbox Live and PSN, one standout title was Trine.

Gorgeous graphics, satisfying platform and puzzle action, and an individual mechanic of being able to switch between three distinct characters and tackle obstacles in a multitude of ways (or just do fun co-op!).

Certainly the third title stumbled with a switch to 3D environments, but the fourth entry looks to be redeeming those mistakes and giving us a solid return to what has made the franchise work.
