After completely owning the box office with its recent third entry, the John Wick franchise comes to gaming.

Made by cult developer Mike Bithell (Thomas Was Alone), instead of going for a tired and obvious third-person action route (like Gears, or Uncharted), the gameplay style echoes strategy shooters (like X-Com).

It's an odd choice but one where Wick’s meticulous style of battle could suit quite well. This doesn’t just seem like a cheap knock-off but an attempt to do something altogether different with a movie license.
