There's always something new to do in Sea Of Thieves. Voyages, Tall Tales, and exploration are only the start of any pirate's journey.

The development team at Rare are always busy thinking of new ways to bring players together in fun and interesting ways. In the past few months these have surfaced in the form of Game Events, timed challenges that offer shiny rewards for whoever manages to complete them.

Last season, for example, saw the rise of Reapers Vs The World, which brought the game's emissary system to the forefront by encouraging crews to fly the flag of their chosen faction and earn as much loot as they could.

Likewise, this event also tasked players with sinking these ships to take these flags for themselves.

While there's no event live at the time of writing, A Pirate's Life is set to see the launch of Flags Of Friendship. Set to commence at the start of July, this set of challenges will focus on joining forces with other crews to complete world events and sharing loot.

Doing so will earn friendly pirates Renown as well as cosmetics to show how friendly you are.
