10. Arcade Gameplay
It might be time for 2K to give their 'super realz pro wrasslin simulation' babble a rest and realise that video games are supposed to be fun. Sure, some elements of realism are great, but games are fantasy worlds in which people do things they couldn't do in real life. That's all part of the fun.
Hear that, 2K? F.U.N – fun.
2K20 wasn't fun, and not only because it was the graphical equivalent of taping one's eyelids open and attempting to watch television properly for hours. It sucked at times 'cause the actual gameplay has barely moved on; things still move at a snail's pace, and that makes contextual actions a complete pain in the arse to perform.
2K should really think about quickening the pace a bit in 2K21. They could do much worse than looking over at the old All Stars game or coming up with something quirky that siphons fan attention away from muddy visuals. Most gamers are willing to accept gameplay over graphics if done well.
