10. Evil Dead (2013)

Few Final Girls have ever been put through the wringer quite like Mia (Jane Levy) from 2013's Evil Dead remake. Because fending off a cabin-full of her Deadite ex-friends isn't bad enough, she also has to do it while in the throes of heroin withdrawal.

And though Mia is the sole survivor of the horrific events, if you give both her immediate and more far-flung future much critical thought, it sure ain't pretty.

First off, Mia loses her arm during her final confrontation with the Abomination, and even if she survives the blood loss - which the Unrated ending suggests she does - absolutely nobody is going to believe that she didn't kill her friends in a drug-crazed frenzy.

Basically, Mia is almost certainly facing a long stint in prison for "murdering" her pals, and even if not, the odds of her relapsing after suffering through so much trauma are extremely high.

Though the Evil Dead franchise has thrived with standalone installments as of late, it's a damn shame we never got clarification on Mia's exact fate.
