14. A Quiet Place Part III

A Quiet Place Part III has been a surprisingly long time coming, considering the first two entries in the hit sci-fi horror franchise were released in 2018 and 2021, and that includes the second film's year-long delay due to the pandemic.

Even though we did get the surprisingly solid prequel A Quiet Place: Day One back in 2024, many fans have been anxious to see the central trilogy with the Abbott family concluded, and are frankly wondering what's been taking so long. But filmmaker John Krasinski has been kept plenty busy with other projects, such as his family adventure film IF, yet this past May the third film was finally confirmed to have started shooting for a July 30, 2027 release.

Plot details are being kept firmly under wraps, but we know that Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Cillian Murphy will all return, while the cast will be rounded out by Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O’Brian.

Considering the series is three-for-three so far, there's little reason to doubt Krasinski delivering the goods once more.
