Singer-songwriters both male and female have been successfully breaking into the music industry for several years now, but the last few months has seen the rise of several who incorporate elements of folk music into their repertoire. One of these is Jacob Edwin Kennedy, otherwise known as Jake Bugg. Following the global success of Mumford and Sons, the public have developed a taste for folk rock, and nineteen year old Bugg has capitalised on the trend, releasing his self-titled debut album last October and seeing it go straight to number one in the UK charts.
