20 Problems Only Students Home For The Summer Will Know

6. Busy Term Time Suddenly Becomes An Empty Summer

CBSDuring term time, the work rarely seems to stop. Assignments and exams keep coming week after week, on top of a social schedule that keeps you out until the wee hours, leaving you with very little time to actually sit back and think about what's happening. Then, summer comes around. Suddenly, there's no reason to wake up in the morning and even less of a reason to stay awake throughout the rest of the day. Unless you get a job, it's easy to simply spend every day lounging around the house eating and waiting until it's acceptable to sleep again.

5. People Complain About Noise Late At Night

BBCLate night noises are a normal occurrence in student homes. Whether it's loud music or the unsavoury sound of headboard against wall, it's difficult for students to complain about things going bump in the night. Students have to be more mindful though when they're at home for the summer. Parents with hectic work schedules and potentially children in the house are not likely to turn a blind eye to the sound of floor-shaking dubstep in the early hours of a weekday. So turn it down, or you might well find yourself out on the street for the rest of the summer.
